The frame is museum grade: UV-filtering glazing, a cotton mount, and one of four finishes.
- Natural oak. Pale European oak, with a warm white conservation mount.
- Walnut. Hand-waxed walnut and an ivory mount.
- Ebonised wood. A dark stained frame with a deep ivory mount.
- Gilded slip. A slender gilt slip set in a dark wood frame.
